suzuki 40 hp dt

I'm having trouble with my outboard.1994 model. It runs fine for 15 min. or so and then stalls and refuses to start back up and run. I think it may be starving for fuel since it needs to be choked on and off to keep it at idle. Any suggestions?

does the bulb get soft? if so check the fuel pump.
