22' center console fiberglass. Brand new Suzuki 125 4 stroke and a 14X19 prop. WOT is only 3100 rpms and 10 mph. I was told it was just prop. if so and you follow the 200 rpm for 1 pitch ratio then he needs to go to a 14X8 pitch or so? sounds all wrong to me. I told him to double check fuel system, and the x y factor. Any and all input?>?> Thanks!!!

hi! i suggest you try an 17 pitch to get on plane or maybe15... when you plane out your rpm will rise a lot....you just got to get over the "hump" :)

Your installing dealer should have made sure the boat was propped correctly before delivering it to you. Since there is no such thing as a 125HP Suzuki, I can only assume you have a 140. What make boat and how much does it weigh? Suzuki now has a 13 -1/2 x 15P prop - I would sugest that. However, you will only get about 30-34 MPH.

Sounds as if you have a warranty-issue.

Leave it to the dealer - it IS his problem. Even if it can be solved by re-propping.

If you try to DIY and it later turns out to be a mechanical error, you might get into trouble.
