Hello,
I got a Suzuki DT25 (Model No: 02503-132880) and I am trying to set it up with remote control. I tried improvising instead of buying the proper Suzuki kit but it did not work. So after a lot of search I got the kit and tried to install it.
Unfortunately I got another problem! The control cables and controls that came with the boat are not from Suzuki (and I have no idea what engine they fit). The result is that they seem to be a bit short!
In the attached picture, The top cable is identical to the one I have (perhaps OMC Type 479) where as the bottom cable according to the iboats site, is the Suzuki Universal Type.
I got a few questions in order to understand what I am doing wrong:
1. From the picture, is dimension A = B ? Can someone confirm that the dimensions are equal or if they are not what is the difference in length?
2. In order for it to work properly A (or B) = C, but in my case C is about ~7 cm longer than A.
Any suggestions?
