The Suzuki factory service rep. installed all new low pressure hoses on engine, and a 1/2 inch fuel hose from tank, adapted down to 5/16 going to motor. Also installed new low pressure pump and check valve on my gas tank. I don't believe all these parts were needed but they did not want further problems. The rep did not allow the Dealer to do the repair.

He also relocated the water / fuel separator /filter to very near the tank and installed a Walbro electric fuel pump after the filter. Then a Holley fuel pressure regulatot and set it at 3 pounds pressure. They attached a shut of sensor to the tach so the electric pump only runs for about 5 seconds unless the tach is registering RPM. So if the motor is off will only run for about 5 sec.

I have tested the motor a lot today. It is about 86 degrees and it seems to run fine.

Mike and Larry at Southport Marine Mart in Southport NC were the only folks to demonstrate any customer service attitude during what has been a frustrating and ridiculous repair process.

While finally succcessful with the repair, Suzuki customer service remains the absolute WORST I have ever encountered in my life.

I hope this info is helpful to someone.
