I recently bought a 2022 suzuki df25atl4 25hp 4 stroke new. Motor runs great but I'm getting a noise from lower unit when on muffs and in gear both forward and reverse. I shut the engine off and moved the shifter to forward which allows me to spin the prop by hand clockwise with a clicking noise and locked counter clockwise. I then put the shifter in reverse and the prop is locked and not turning either direction. When in neutral the prop spins freely. Is this normal for reverse to lock the prop completely? I've read that the noise from lower unit while in gear on muffs is due to prop not being under load from water. Thanks in advance!
