Suzuki DF70 leaking water/have pics now.

At the area where I'm pointing I have water coming out that is oily. Haven't removed any covers as I don't want to damage anything. I am sick and need to get rid of boat. Any idea as to what is causing leak and cost to fix? Had service done 10/09 and haven't run it more than 5 hours since then. no water found in oil. Found this while checking in the yard.

hi, I also need some help! its with a fuel problem. I have a df 70 (1989) electronic.
The problem is that the engine starts and runs ok. However, a vent tube that is led to the cover over the air-intake is pumping fuel at rate equal to the pressure of the tell-tail into the base of the engine cover. Also, after running for a short time an intermittent beep from the engine management system sounds. Help!!.

Sorry, I am not sure of what would send water out at that point on your motor, but I would remove the top cowling and see if you can see anything around the power head leaking maybe a hose came loose and is just running out down that far.

hi there, im a marine engineer from wales, have had this complaint alot and its due to the service being messy, oil spilt in the couling, keep an eye on the oil levels just in case but this will go within a few hours of running.

ZANDER231, the motor was serviced 10/09 and has been run at least 5 or more hours since then. Shouldn't this have cleared up by now? You have seen the pics?
