the limiter on my suzuki monitor is on after 20 sec,s from starting but only when running in water! when I haul it out it will run and no limiter light comes on! no overheat or oilflow or oil level lights on, plenty of water from telltale , what,s up please help

I suspect the oil flow sensor in the line between the tank and the oil pump. Regardless, test one sensor at a time by the easy job of disconnecting one sensor at a time. When the limiter doesn't come on, you've found the problem.

thank,s grid michal but iv,e been there before last season Rodbolt put me on to that one ,so it was my first check .I think iv,e found it ,it looks like the combined water flow/temp sensor. the flow switch section works on off ,but the reading across the temp sensor is 100Kohms plus, <br />as this is supposed to be a bi/metal switch I would expect this normally to 0ohms ,to open circuit when heated in hot water, mine stays at the same reading so I,m waiting for dealer to let me know proper reading ,let you know outcome Thanks again
