hi guys<br /><br />I have had for about 14 years a DT4 suzuki engine in my garage which a fired up for the first time since, after i had cleaned all the carb, i put it on the river and then put it in gear and twisted the trottle, i could only get it to a quarter trottle, any more and it just died on me.<br /><br />the make is a dt4, oo402, 718523 and i think 1987<br /><br />all help greatly recieved as i have a nagging son itching to get on the river<br />cheers

sounds like low speed circut in carb is good to go. what about mid and high speed circuts?<br /><br />also any motor thats been in storage that long should really be looked at completly.<br />if i were you i would verify everything on engine. you never know until you look.
