Hello, all!
I have a 1980 Suzuki DT 35 (I know, Suzuki didn't make DT 35 in 1980, but the engine clearly says 35. Seems to be a 40 with a different carburettor)
My problem is that it starts misfiring when it gets warm. Not as in losing a cylinder, more like total ignition failure for .1 second, as if you give a stop button a short push. It picks up again, only to do the same a short while later. If I reduce throttle to about half it calms down and behaves again. As far as I can tell, the powerhead does not have any overheating circuitry.
The engine doesn't seem to be too warm, as I can touch the cylinders for a short while without needing medical attention.
I did a total overhaul of the engine in June, so mechanically it is in good condition.

Any tips or pointers?

Best regards,
Hugo
