suzuki dt 65 water circulation

hi people,

my suzuki dt65 isnt pumping water properly, ive changed the impeller and tried to blow air up the tell tale hole.

it will then pump water strongly until you give it full throttle then the water will stop pumping out again and the tell tail will be blocked with sand and salt,ive taken the plate off the other side of the engine but nothing seams Blocked up on that side of the water jacket. it pumps water out the exhaust but will actually steam if you go fast for any prolonged period.

is there anyway to unblock the water jacket etc. without a full strip down?

the engine number is 0652351261 its oil injected

Well you could drop the lower unit, and blow water and/or air up the water pump discharge line. Do it with the tsat, and water flow sensor removed, see what comes out. MartyD

is there some kind of product i can pump through the engine to clear any salt build up?
