I ran my DT25 last week and I don't think it used any oil. I marked it on the tank to make sure it was pumping oil. It didnt use any. I'm hoping it didn't mess anything up.

I'm wanting to take the oiler off and premix. How do I do this?

Thanks

Re: Suzuki DT25 oiler

it is a gear driven pump that runs off of the crankshaft, very reliable as long as you keep the oil clean.
Mix some fuel and oil in your fuel tank and drain and clean the oil tank and lines, fill oil tank back up, bleed air out of lines and keep running it to make sure the oil flows as it should out of oil tank.

Not sure about that small motor, but I think Suzuki's have a flow switch on the oiler that alarms and reduces RPM when there is no flow

Maybe you just did not see the level drop because it used so little on those small motors

Take the oil pump off, remove the gear that connects it, bolt it back on and just premix it ... keep the oil tank full to not get any warning unless you want disconnect the oil flow and oil level switches ....
