suzuki dt25 same as 40hp?

i was told that 2 stroke 25 3cyl. was same as 40 hp with modification if so HOW DO YOU DO IT? ITS A 1992 IF THAT MATTERS

Well ..... it is not the same as a 40hp .... but yes it is possible to get 40hp out of the motor with major modifications .....

Sure, you can get many more out of any motor, but modifying it to the max is hardly worth it .... it is much chepaer and easier to just buy a different motor ....
