Suzuki DT9.9 choking at WOT

I have a 83 suzuki DT9.9 that I recently bought. I changed the fuel lines, spark plugs, and the fuel in the tank to start new. It runs fine at idle, but sputters at higher speeds. We don't have a local suzuki repair shop, so I am looking for some suggestions on how to fix the problem. I was thinking of adjusting the carb, but am not sure if that is practical. no high speed adjustments are availible. remove the carb for cleaning. usually all the gaskets can be reused if not torm its a simple beast but touchy about any contamination. you really need a service manual to play with that motor
