Suzuki NA 12S control box question

I just bought a new control box for my 1987 DT 140. The new control has a push to open throttle cam. My motor needs pull to open cam.

Can you swap the new cam over or change cam holes, or can I just use my old cam plate to convert this new unit to pull?

Re: Suzuki NA 12S control box question

The old cam and new cam are basicaly the same.

The new control box cam plate has a arm connected to another arm with a plastic pivite. The arm after the cam plate is up-side down and attached to the hole under the pivite.

The old cam plate has the arm attached above the plastic pivite.

I could not swap hole on the new cam plate. I belive everything is pressed into place.

So I just swapped in my old cam plate, and I also had to flip the warm up throttle arm cam around.

Works like a champ.

SVILLA is correct. The only difference between the DT, which is what you need and the DF which is what you bought, is the link plate in the remote throttle mechanism. Take the one from the old DT and swop it into the DF remote.
