suzuki pisser problem

I have a 94 suzuki 65 hp outboard. The pisser kept clogging. I disconnected it from the telltale. Debris flushed out, good pressure. I hooked it back up, kept repeating same problem. Disconnected it permantley from the telltale and ran hose straight out. Runs fine for a hur or 2 at high pressure and then pressue becomes low. Backwash with a hose and fine again for 1 to 2 hours. HELP!

What kind of trash are you getting out of it? If little pieces of rubber then your impeller is failing

I changed the impeller already. It looks like like rust flakes.
