suzuki prop on a Johnson O/B

I bought a prop from a guy on ebay and its the correct pitch I and diameter for my 97 Johnson 90 hp spl.
The splines fit perfect (13) but I cant use my original thrust washer . The back side of the prop has a caped end with the shaft hole and the inner tube is recessed inward from that so I need a thrust washer that fits in that hole and seats on the tube . I have been to two marinas that carry everything darn near and they cant find anything . So I am stuck with an unusable brand new prop unless someone here can help or knows something that will work. The seller listed it as a Suzuki prop that fits omc . I am hoping its a matter of just getting the correct thrust washer.

You didn't ask enough questions. What the E-bay seller told you was true. What you didn't ask the seller, or what the seller didn't mention was that OMC 4-STROKES are the same engine as Suzuki 4-STROKES. OMC 2-STROKES are not the same as SUZUKI 4-STROKES. It therefore stands to reason that you can't find a compatible thrust washer so yes, you are stuck with a new prop you can't use.
