I have a 1985 dt-85 that was torn down to do the carb soak trick. Time passed and on reassembly there is what appears to be two brown vacumn lines on the l/h side of the motor. One is segmented and connects to the top of the head area and runs under the motor to the r/h side. the other is about 3" long and is connected to the bottom of the head assy. Any ideas where the other end goes. There are no easily recognizable connections. The book is very vague. Thanks for any help.

Hi,

Go to brownspoint.com
Select Parts Look-Up
Select Your model and then Year.
With the pictures shown in the parts listing You maybe should be able to solve the problem?
Maybe it is oil injection system house routing?

When You say the book is very vague - what book is it? (Clymer or Seloc manual?)

/Bo

Re: suzuki vacumn line

Thanks so much. Brownspoint is a great site. According to the drawing under 1985 dt-85 fig 1, cylinder ,it is items 32 thru 28 hose, lubrication but i still do not see the termnation point for that line. At least knowing that it is a lube line will narrow my search. Thanks again
