Is it possible to swap the carbs on a 87'125hp with the carbs from 89' 150 Force. Looks like the adapter plates are the same size and they are jetted the same. Only thing I can find different is the choke.

Should be OK as long as you don't use the center carb. It only feeds one cylinder and usually is jetted differently (smaller). The castings all have the bosses for choke plate shafts so if the carbs you want to use have enrichment valves, you can drill the casting to put in chokes. Bowls are all the same and can be swapped for each other and you can cap off the brass enrichment fittings in the carb flanges.

Force made two different versions of the 5 cylinder 150. earlier models used the smaller WB type carbs and had a 3.3125 bore. Later models used the much larger TC type carbs and had a 3.375 bore. In photos, the carbs will look very similar but if you have them in your hand, the size difference will be obvious.
