My tilt decided to completely go out on my 1991 v135, trim still works, both
would quickly leak down before but now tilt will not work. I have a 1985
mariner 150 parts motor with a single ram tilt/trim and wanted to know if this
would work on my v135 without much headache.
The 135's trim motor has 2 wires( blue and green) and is connected to relays.
The 150 has 3 wires ( white, black, green) and was already disconnected
but I'm guessing they were connected to solenoids.
Can this work?

Will the 135's trim motor work on the 150's valve body if the 150's trim motor
is not working?

I have a 1991 90hp thats in the process of being rebuilt that has a 3 ram
tilt/trim I can use but would prefer not to since I want to sell this motor
once completed. If the 150's tilt will work I'd rather use it since I plan on
keeping the 150 as a back up after I rebuild the powerhead.

I already have the 135 off the boat and have pulled the tilt off. The 150 is on
an engine stand with the wiring completely removed. The 90hp's mid, lower
is laying under my storage racks so it would be the easiest to access and
I know the tilt works on it. The 150 is untested since most of it was in totes
when I bought it.
