Sweet Deal on a Boat

Hey, I've got a sweet deal on a boat.

• 1993 Excel 21' - Hull is GLOSSY and beautiful - round front windshield style.
• Solid Floors
• Needs new carpet / interior (if like that)

But its a volvo penta motor (Owner said a 155hp - but it looks like a GM 4.3). It's been frozen and the exhaust manifolds are cracked.

MY QUESTION. Would mercruiser exhaust manifolds bolt on it? I've got a pair in my garage that are fine... they look like they're identical except the exhaust tube that comes out the back... but I could do my own plumbing to fix this problem.

If it's been froze I would buy assuming you will have a junk engine.
If the manifolds froze the engine block probably froze. I think a brand new 4.3 l gm v-6 is in the $5,000 ish range with no labor.

Ayuh,... There may also be other fitment Issues...

Ya got a Volvo,... Go with Volvo parts...
