Ok, so the project boat I just acquired has a bent bracket on the starboard end of the stern. Previous owner must have backed the boat into something but there is no visible damage other than the bend bracket. Anyway, should I remove the bracket and replace it using the existing holes or should move the bracket over a bit and drill new holes?
