Swim Platform Rail

Hi, I am looking to acquire and install a swim platform rail on my Four Winns 288. Any suggestions as to where I can buy a good quality rail. I'll do the installation myself, any advise will be appreciated. Thanks.

what exactly IS a swim platform rail?

generally railing would be custom fabricated.

I think he means a grab bar to assist pulling yourself up the ladder but????????????

yeah i'm HOPING not a railing around the swim platform.. sounds like a really bad idea

He is not thinking about a grab handle. Four Winns makes one for their cruisers, I think it's about $700. Many people mount their grill to it.

You can find it on the Four Winns website under accessories. Can be ordered from a dealer.

FW part # is 065-1811. Fits 258 Vista up to 378 Vista's.

I had bars made up, by a race car builder. I went and asked what diameter dies he had, and purchased some SS rube, and gave him a drawing, and he had it done in about an hour. The SS tube was the money, he only charged me an hour of work from my machine shop in trade.
