I am interested in any opinions or experiences with platforms purchased through Scott at swimplatforms.com. Specifically if anyone put one on with a duoprop. I have a 1999 2330 Chaparral with Volvo 5.7 DP and wanted to verify clearance. Seems to allow for full rise of outdrive and extends past the length of drive, but close. Searching past posts looks favorable, but wanted to try to get more specific opinions. So far they have been a pleasure to deal with.

I met the owner at the Utah boat show this year and he seemed to be a pretty nice guy. I was pretty impressed with their product and wouldn't mind if iboats started selling them. Please keep us informed with how the install goes and how happy you are with the end results. Thanks! BTW, I love the extended platform on my 230. You will love yours too.

The unofficial Crownline forum (CrownieHQ.com, which isn't just for Crownlines) did a group buy on them a couple of years ago. I just missed it. Everybody was very impressed with the platforms and they looked great. Lots of installations on duo-props. The forum changed servers about 6 months or so ago so I doubt if the thread is still there. But if you ask about it lots of people on there will answer you.

There's a pic of a 95-99 2330 on their website with a platform on it. I don't see how clearance would be any problem.

I have one for my larson, no duoprop, but the only time I could see any interferance would be on the trailer with it at the upper trim stops. I clear it just fine.
