Switching Control Boxes HydraMatic back to Electramatic

Hey guys,

I have a 1968 Electramatic 40hp that currently has a HydraMatic control box that has been jerry-rigged with a 3 way toggle switch for Forward and Reverse.

I saw a old Electramatic control box on eBay but doesn't have the throttle cables, is it easy/possible to switch cables over from my current HydraMatic to the Electramatic control box ?

Thoughts?
