Switching drives

I have a 2000 Regal with twin Volvo 4.3 gl's with sx counter rotating drives, are there any issues with switching these drives around.

Normally, with twin engines, one drive is standard rotation and one is counter rotation. If you switch the drives port to starboard and starboard to port, you will go the wrong way.

If you pull the plastic cover off the back of the outdrive, you will see the shift linkage is different for standard and Counter rotation drives.
