sx-a driveshaft bellows full of oil but no leak detected under pressure and vacuum test

i have an sx-a drive i removed from a boat do do the bellows, the bellows was filed with gear oil and the drive had nothing measurable on the stick. i drained it and presure tested it at multiple pressures, turning the shaft and no leaks found over the course of a few days. why is this? how did the oil leak out but now nothing?
the boat has been in storage for 2 years

inspect the u-joint shaft for rust. most likely need to change input shaft bearing (requires new crush sleeve)

scott, this think looks pristeen inside, the paint is still on the seal. u joints and shaft.

Then the only thing I can suggest, fill it, run it, check it often.

look again when you pull the drive for winter maintenance.
