SX Drive, Replacement Prop not fitting. Need Help!

Hi Guys, I'm really hoping someone can help here... I have a 06' Larson 208 with a Volvo Penta SX drive. I went picked up a Michigan Wheel 4 blade alum. prop and the hub kit. Both Prop and hub with said they work with a 1994+ Volvo SX.

So, I get everything on and there is not enough thread for the prop nut to catch. I realized that I needed to pound on the hub kit a bit more. It's seated nice, but again won't fit. I even tried taking out the thrust washer and still could not get the bolt far enough on to get the pin in...

I'm stumped.

Come to think of it, I didn't pull off a thrust washer on the old prop...I wonder if that is stuck on there???

Well,If the old thrust washer is still on the shaft it sure won't fit.
Post up a picture of what you have.
At this point it is just a guessing game...

Gary, that was exactly the problem!! Since it was stuck on I thought it was part of the outdrive. I lightly hit it with a hammer and it came right off. I put the prop on and it was a great update!

Went from a 14.25x19 (3-blade) to 14x20 (4-blade). AWESOME all around!
