I just finished doing the gimbal, bellows, and refinishing the drive unit. I kind of gave myself a scare when I put it in today and it seemed like the exhaust was coming up from the drive unit closer to the boat rather than out of the prop, at least more than I recall. The bellows is completely intact though.

Is the exhaust supposed to come out of the rectangular ports between the upper and lower halves of the drive unit? It the cooling water supposed to come out the bottom of the outer transom shield where the lower anode is?

Here is a video of it running on land with me questioning where the exhaust should be coming out.

Just trying to be extra cautious before going full out on it.

Thank you,
Rich

I couldnt open the pic, but the exhaust bellows does have holes in it for exhaust. You may not see a lot of exhaust out the prop.
you should take a look and see if it still connected at both ends, but seems like you are ok.

That is correct, don't worry, water exits above and behind the anode.

Thank you all. I'll do a pictorial write up when I get a rainy day. I have tracked all expenses in a spreadsheet as well.
