SX-M Prop Housing Anode

I see in the parts diagram for my joint venture SX-M drive that there is a prop shaft housing anode and retainer, which my drive doesn't have. I can find the anode, but not the retainer on line. I've never seen this anode (3852970) in any SX-M anode kits. Is this anode no longer being used? I can see it could be a pain to R&R, but I wouldn't mind having extra protection for my lower housing.
