I am visiting my in-laws, who have a Chevy SRX 5.7L engine in a 1988 Sea Ray. We just brought it out of the garage for the first time this summer and when we started it up with the water hose connected, I noticed that there are two LARGE symmetrical leaks from the block between the first and second cylinders below the valve cover and well hidden behind the exhaust manifolds. The leaks have not been there in the past. Because of the volume of water that is flowing out and the symmetrical nature of the leaks, I am pretty confident that there are some petcocks that have been removed or drainage bolts that are missing, etc. I have located two petcocks at the rear of the exhaust manifolds, but cannot find the other two that are indicated on a pretty vague diagram in the owner's manual. Can someone PLEASE give me some pointers as to where to look or what to try? Any assistance would be GREATLY appreciated!
