T50 lower unit VS. F50 lower unit

Hello fellow boaters. I was wondering if anyone out there can help me answer a question I have. Is the lower unit on a Yamaha T50 outboard interchangeable with an F50 model? I am considering changing from a T50 to an F50 on my boat but if the lower units are interchangeable it would be a lot cheaper to swap them out instead of buying a new motor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Since you haven't got a response I'll tell you that the F25 and T25 are different enough that the lower units don't swap. Maybe some knows more about the T50.
