tach hookup problem

im trying to hookup my new teleflex tach.inst. say to hook send terminal to (I) on ignition switch or green wire. i do not have (I) terminal or green wire. which switch terminal do i hook it to? i have B,M,S,C,A,M!THANK YOU!

Send terminal goes to gray wire. "I" goes to purple ignition wire.

That would be the "A" terminal on the switch. It is the 12volt supply with the switch turned on.

ive got inst. in pdf form and now i see where i was reading wrong.thanks rick.your referring to solid purple correct?

Re-reading the question, the sender wire goes to grey tachometer feed as previously stated. The 12v supply wire goes to the A terminal.
