Had continuity on all 3 (+,- and gray)from Deutsch connector. This was a new Faria. It did work when 1st connected several months ago. This is a project that is being done on a driveway. I guess my STATOR is bad, only got .002 reading and per manual S/B .695 - .705. RECTIFIER ???

Stator done ??? If so and I get a new one, could a bad rectifier screw it up ??? Stator is probably the tach's issue ???

Which test are you referring to? And what manual are you using?

Most of the time when the tach quits working it's because of a bad rectifier/regulator.

OMC manual, STATOR RESISTANCE CHECK. I did this test while in place. I did not disconnect stator at the 2 plugs. My voltmeter appears to also not be working.
