I have a 1990 Evinrude 90 hp with a Teleflex Sportsman tach; the max rpm that I'm getting is 5100-5200 rpm at WOT; I know this is low and the motor is lugging at that rpm, but at wot it sounds like it's actually running higher than that. What setting should my tach be on, and how do I know that it is accurate in the first place? Thanks........
