Tach Repair?

Have a '92 Bass Buggy with 60hp Johnson with factory tachometer that the needle just fell of- Can it be re-attached or is it junk?

If you can get it apart you might be able to reattach the needle.
It depends why it fell off and how it's constructed.

River Rover, I concur with marc c above. If you can easily open the tach housing up, reattach the pointer making sure it is in the proper position so the calibration is still useable. And if you can't open it up, unless you want to send it back the manufacture for repairs (don't know the age of it), buy a new replacement. JMHO!
