Tachometer Failure

Twin Diesels with uper and lower stations. STBD Tach on lower station failed while uper station still works. Any ideas? Thanks!!

Might try wiggling the wires on the back or otherwise checking for corrosion at the connection. Personal experience. My tach went to intermittent operation the quit altogether. Pulled the dash, wiggled the wires and it has worked since.

Swap tach positions. If the non-functional position now works you have a bad tach. If neither tach works in that position you have a wiring issue.
