I have a 1982 50 hp Johnson The boat has a 1972 omc tachometer on it. The cable for the tach was missing. I bought a new cable,and hooked it up.At first it worked but was reading wrong, so I put it on # 6 and it worked fine for a few days. But has quit working. I have checked all the connection and they are good.Thanks for any help.. Dornoc
