tackometer relacement

does anyone know what brand of tackometer will work on my 1998 merc 115 ,Teleflex sea star and so on,also this is a nitro 700 LX 1998

Most Tachometers are Generic.
There is usually multi-setting switch on the rear of the Tach to set it to the type of motor you have, 4cyl, 6cyl, 8Cyl, 2 Stroke, OB etc.
If the motor has Spark Plugs, the Tach has a setting for it. The Merc 115 likely has a 12 pole Stator.

Do you have a particular Tach in mind?

Iwas looking at the telaflex artic series or the sea star sahara series and am going to replace all the gauges trim and fuel and speedo and tach! what do you set the tach at for a four cyl merc? far as Iknow my stator is red if that makes a difference!
