2017 Tahoe 500TF, I/0 Alpha One. I get a 1 second clicking noise when I engage the prop with muffs...not in the water. The clicking noise stops and everything seems fine. It makes the same noise in forward or reverse.Only about 8 or 10 rapid clicks from prop area.

Welcome aboard.

You're granny shifting, aren't you? Easing into gear will click as the gears try to mesh especially with no load on the prop using muffs.

Move the lever sharply into gear. There is enough range on the control to move into gear without reving the motor.
