take of the Head on 4.3 V6 - some help

hi!

I just recently discovered that one of my cylinder have low compression, and some time the engien backfires. That tells me that i have a bad exhaust valve.
I just recently had a leeking manifold, som maybe one of the valvue was damage doing that periode.

my question is, can i take the head of without taking the intake manifold of?

No the intake must come off first.

And in order to get the manifold off, the distributor must come out.
