I was reading on one of the threads the other night and just glanced the talk about taking the numbers and other decals off gel-coat. I remember someone said that they used a 3m earser. They said it was the easiest thing they had used to take numbers off of the boat. However I remember he said he got it Advance Auto. I went to my friendly neighborhood Advance Auto, and they looked at me as if I was asking for a blivit or something from outerspace. If anyone has the information on this item, please give me more. Thanks in advance!!!!!

Numbers or reg. stickers are fairly easy to remove by hand ..

Its those pesky metallic pin stripes at the waterline that will give you problems.

I would not recommend using a free wheelin' eraser on any project unless we can see what your trying to do.

As with any Tool .. you have to be aware of the properties of the tool/material your using.

Yes .. the decal removal disc is a good tool to have/use .. but you have to Know how to use it ..
