Hi All,

I need to extend my Commander 2000 wiring harness to the dashboard as its standard 5-wire dashboard harness is missing. Where can I get about 5ft (1.5m) of TAN/BLUE cable (tan with a light-blue stripe), ideally of the same AWG to extend Mercury low oil / powerhead overheat circuit? Found all other colour coded cables except for this one and don't want to change the colour coding.

Many thanks in anticipation,

Dmitriy

A search of wire manufactures on the internet should get you a list of manufactures that just might have the wire you need. Otherwise a search of the salvage yards listed in the TOP SECRET sticky here on Iboats might have what you need.

It's possible that a Merc dealer might have a junk engine lying around, from which you could salvage some wire. Other than that, label a generic wire at both ends "blue/tan (alarm)" and that ought to tell people what they need to know.
