This is a small amount of 30, year old teak which came on my 1982, Wellcraft 248 fisherman which looked
like drift wood when I started. There are 60, other pieces I hope to finish this summer including 10, pieces
of ribbon mahogany I had made for the dash, and compartment covers. This has 16, coats of Epifanes high
gloss 1, part varnish sprayed on, and sanded between coats with 220,320. My goal is 20, coats total. It
is a labor of love!

Very nice! I have found that by waving a heat gun over the surface, if there are any air bubbles in the mix the heat will cause them to rise and dissapate on the surface. Just be careful not to stay in one place to long.

Thanks Woodonglass - my brother told me he saw someone on tv doing that on lacquer. I want to try it when weather permits. Bubbles
have been a big pain on occasion!
