Tech Manual Question

I am a boat repair newbee... about to start repair projects... stingers, deck etc. I need to remove the engine. I know having manuals on your engine and drive are a must. Is it necessary to get the Mercruiser brand manuals costing lots of $ or are the Clymer or Seloc manuals good enough? I want to get started on the right foot. I have a 1986 Starcraft 1901 Medalist with a Merc 140 engine.

The path to yer set of factory Mercruiser manuals for yer motor 'n drive, starts in the Adults Only section, pinned to the top of this forum....

They're Free....

When ya download 'em, save 'em to disk, then burn 'em on a CD,... That way, you'll always have 'em...
