Hi,
I have a 7 hp Sears Ted Williams motor that I don't know what year it is. The model # is 217 59440 and the serial # is 174843. I am trying to find out how much money this motor is worth, as I would like to sell it.

1971. Here is a link that will help. http://www.discount-marine-parts.com/ob_eska.html. It is an Eska motor, Tecumsah powerhead. So you could look at comparable prices for eskas of that vintage. I'm guessing in decent shape and running around $50-75.

Its not too old anyway, this motor is manufactured 1988. Talking about the price your lucky enough if you can sell it by 250.00.

I have a Ted Williams 7.5 (sears) Motor with model number 57459520 Ser No 67600710-5878. Is it worth it to rebuild it? Still has compression. Any Idea approx cost to rebuild before I start on it would be helpfl to know. Also looking for the top cover.
