Ted Williams 7 HP.

I have a 1971 Ted Williams 7 HP. The lower unit drive is locked up. Prop drive gears look ok. Do I have to remove the powerhead to get the lower unit off? I do not have a manual, just picked up this motor this week.

There should be a nut in the exhaust snout and under a cover at the front just under the antivent(cavitation) plate.
