Tee Nee trailer/Sand questions

I'm new on here and just bought a trailer for my Jon boat. I'm currently trying to transfer the trailer registration and I've hit somewhat of a snag. The trailer appears to be a Tee Nee (has the logo stickers on it). I know that those could have been put on there at any time, but the placement and wear make me think they're legit.
My problem is that the registration card shows the make as being a "Sand". I have looked online and can't find any history of a trailer manufacturer by that name. I can't find a vin besides what is listed on the registration. I've looked all over the trailer and assume that it was on a decal that has fallen off.
So...I was hoping someone on here could help. Does anyone have a Tee Nee that could look at their registration and/or title? Has anyone heard of "Sand" trailers? Or do I simply have a registration card for the wrong trailer?

Re: Tee Nee trailer/Sand questions

Post a picture. If its a TeeNee we can probably identify it.

My regs all have the mfg name abbreviated. One of mine is listed as a Yacl, another a Lori and my TeeNee is a Teen. When you search use Sand with some wildcards.

Also, lots of trailers are registered as home made because somewhere the owner lost the papers. Stolen ones are often re-registered with papers from a destroyed trailer.

Re: Tee Nee trailer/Sand questions

Unfortunately I don't have a good pic of the trailer at the moment but I'll get one and post it. Is there a way that I could find the manufacturer through a vin decoder? I have done a few free vin lookups online and none of them find any results.

I think it could pass for homemade besides the frame rails. In the bend, there is a uniform concave on each side. The rest of it is basically pieces of aluminum welded together and a few things bolted to it. There are some obvious modifications as well. Does anyone know how much of a trailer has to be whole before it can't be considered homemade? I mean I'm sure people have pieced together various trailer parts before.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yep that more or less covers it.
