I;ve got a 1977 Century Arabian. I'm 12 months into it and I am on the last straightaway to getting it on the water. The Blue Angels are flying a show over the Charleston Harbor in a three weeks and I am racing to make it out there.
I took my Teleflex remote apart because the ignition switch was not closing. Now that I am re-assembling it, the black "throttle only" button will not depress. It snaps on to a small post in the center of the splined post that the hangle fits on. I've moved the handle around through the motion and it will not go in.
Any trick to make it work?
