teleflex steering cables

Does anyone know if you can cut a teleflex steering cable down to a shorter lenght if needed. I got one for free but its 4 ft too long for my boat.Thanks..

no they definately can't be cut you need to get the right size cable

No. You need to buy a bigger boat to fit the cable.

Well anything can be cut, the question is, can it be used after you cut it..

When it comes to steering cables, unless you have extensive knowledge as well as specialized equipment to put it back together, then no, it is not possible.
