Disconnect the steering cable from the motor to determine if the problem is in the motor, or in the steering. If it is in the steering, disconnect the cable from the rack to determine if the problem is in the rack or the cable.<br /><br />Only fix or replace what you need to.
Hey fredu, I replaced my sterring cable with a teleflex setup, the cable was 120 bucks and steers like pwr steering. I would rather cruise contently rather than to get stuck out in the middle of nowhere with no steering due to a broker cable. Good luck!
